Flossie Marie Atkinson

Flossie Marie Atkinson, 72, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at her residence. She was born October 9, 1935 in Vinton Co., daughter of the late Charles and Geneva Wine Atkinson.

Flossie was a homemaker.

She is survived by 3 brothers, Charles Atkinson Jr. and Ira Morrison both of McArthur and Arthur Morrison of Wellston; a sister, Vernie Belle Atkinson of Greenfield.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 3 brothers, James Leonard Atkinson, Howard Blanchard Atkinson and Willard David Atkinson; a sister, Rachel Deloris Morrison.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Chestnut Grove Church, Vinton Co. with the Rev. Tom Estep officiating. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
