Anna Mae Adams

Anna Mae Adams, 86, of Nelsonville, passed away, Monday, March 31, 2008 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. She was born August 3, 1921 in Barberton, the daughter of the late Ray and Lavinia Bartschy. She was married to Joe Adams Sr. of Nelsonville, for 65 years.

Anna graduated from Barberton High School in 1939.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; a son, Joe Nancy Adams II of Nelsonville; a daughter, Ruth Ann Norman Paderewski of Chardon; grandchildren, Joe Pamela Adams III of Bristol, Connecticut, Scott Nicole Adams of Fairbanks, Alaska, Andrew Amanda Muldoon Adams of Fairbanks, Alaska, Kristen Daniel Mancini of Ashtabula and Sheri Don Church of Silver Spring, Maryland; great grandchildren, Joseph, Casey, Tori and Jason Adams and Max Church; and a sister, Lucille Lloyd Karalic of Barberton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Goldie Hetrick and brothers, Raymond and Robert Bartschy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will be at Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
