Lura L. Elick

Lura, L. Elick, 89, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. She was born October 20, 1918 in Licking County, daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary Ellen Shaw Tatman. Lura was married to Robert L. Elick Sr., who survives.

She was a production worker at General Electric in Circleville.

In addition to her husband, Lura is survived by one son, Carl Sue Elick of Adelphi; two daughters, Louanna Woodside of Lancaster and Betty Jerry Perry of McArthur; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two sisters, June Forest of McArthur and Leona Schroeder of Tarlton.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert L. Elick Jr.; one daughter, Leona Kay Elick and seven brothers.

Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Monday, April 7, 2008 in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Sunday, from 4-8 P.M.
