Shirley Ann West, 72, of Albany, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 9, 2008. She was born October 5, 1935, in Vinton County, daughter of the late Frank and May Belle Pendleton Cottrill. Shirley was married to Arthur H. West, who survives.
She was retired and an active member of Radcliff Fellowship Chapel and devoted her life to the Lords work.
She is survived by two sons, James F. West and Clyde R. West, both of Albany; two grandchildren, Alison Elaine West and Jared Arthur West; one brother, Virgil F. Cottrill of Radcliff; three sisters, Minnie Wiseman of Athens, Pauline Holliday of Albany and Beverly Jean Hamons of Port Clinton and sister-in-law, Norvella Cottrill of Radcliff.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Cottrill.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Radcliff Fellowship Chapel in Radcliff, with Pastor Bobby Porter officiating. Interment will be in Radcliff Cemetery. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Friday, from 4-8 P.M. and on Saturday, one hour prior to the services at the church.
