Tommy T. Palmer

Tommy T. Palmer, 69, of Trimble, celebrated his birthday Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, as he passed away and went to be with his Lord and Savior and his beloved, late wife, Barbara A. Noland Palmer. He was born April 9, 1939 in Athens County, son of the late Arthur T. and Ethel Mae Butterfield Palmer.

He was a 1957 graduate of Jacksonville Trimble High School and member of the Trimble West Side Church of Christ and was formerly a longtime employee of Hud's Ashland, Peabody Coal Company until it's shutdown and retired from Ferd Hack Auto Supply in Athens.

Tommy is survived by one daughter Deanda L. Palmer of Trimble, one grandson, Thomas T. Palmer of Trimble, several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, wife and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster, with Minister Tommy Butterfield officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, April 14, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
