Jean Elizabeth Morgan

Jean Elizabeth Morgan, 85 of McArthur, went home to be with the Lord on May 8th 2008. She was born on January 18th, 1923 to Forest and Hannah Zinn.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Roberta, Dorothy May, one brother Harold Zinn, and one grandson, Jimmy Morgan.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul Henry Morgan; three sons, James Franklin Naomi, Paul Robert Donna and Harold Richard Betty; one daughter, Debbie Bob Sifford; one sister, Virginia Ward; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a niece, Joanna Brad Michael and a special nephew Robert C. Grace Riffle.

Jean was a member of the First Christian Church of McArthur. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. As a homemaker, she operated a cake decorating business out of her home and sold Avon. She developed a card ministry that touched the lives of neighbors, friends, and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Pastor Rob Vernon officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4-8 P.M.
