Emma Irene Lockwood

Emma Irene Lockwood, 82, of Creola, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008, at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home in Logan. She was born November 4, 1925, in Franklin County, daughter of the late Minyard H. and Emily Jane Wellman Moore. Emma was married to Orville D. Lockwood, who survives.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Linda Hammond of Chillicothe and Steve Debbie Caldwell of Jacksonville, Florida; two daughters, Ellonda John Sperry of Kent, Ohio and Tina Bob Relay of Columbus; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and special friends, Harriet Grim and Cathy Skeens.

In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Graveside services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, May 15, 2008, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus. Cremation has taken place and no calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
