Roger Adam Wharton

Roger Adam Wharton, 44, of Logan, passed away Monday, May 19, 2008, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born January 30, 1964, in Logan, son of Renata Meisel Wharton of Rockbridge and the late Lloyd Earnest Wharton. Roger was married to Mary Klinebriel Wharton, who survives.

He owned and operated T&R Trucking in Rockbridge. Roger was an avid Ohio State fan, loved nascar and was a great collector of sports memorabilia.

In addition to his wife, Roger is survived by two sons, Derek Adam and Jordan Adam Wharton both of Logan; daughter, Josie Lynn Wharton of Logan and three brothers, John Karen Wharton, Terry Keely Wharton and Wayne Wharton all of Rockbridge.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Interment will be in Connett Cemetery, Athens County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
