Roger L. Dowden

Roger L. Dowden 59 of Logan passed away May 30, 2008 in the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus. He was born September 20, 1948 in Circleville, Ohio son of Mary Dill Dowden Eggart of Frazeysburg, Ohio and the late Leland Dowden. He was married to Martina Tuthill Dowden who survives.

Roger owned and operated Dowden and Sons Construction Company, was a Navy Vietnam Veteran, and attended the Jacksontown U.M. Church.

He is survived by sons Ty Jessica Naylor Dowden and Justin Dowden. Daughters Jennifer Jim Kedrie, Mican Dowden, and Lauren Dowden, 6 grandchildren and one on the way, brothers Butch and Jim Dowden, sisters Jackie Eggart, Shirley Curtis, Joyce Rudisill, and Sandy Stout, several step brothers, step sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday in the Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, Ohio 43138 with Pastor Bob Beyer and Pastor Carol Kirk officiating. Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
