Allen Bruce Nutt

Allen ""Bruce"" Nutt, 73, of Hamden, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at his residence. He was born October 2, 1934, in Hamden, son of the late Edward F. and Lena Alice Sprague Nutt. Bruce was married to Dorthy F. Brenneisen Nutt, who survives.

He was a retired Distributor for Standard Oil Company and an Army Veteran.

Bruce is survived by two sons, Douglas Kathy Nutt of Beaver, Ohio and Michael Nutt of Hamden; daughter, Diana Rex Sims of McArthur; four grandchildren and three sisters, Helen Wiseman, Mary Cadrecha and Dorothy Tracht.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild and two brothers, John and Bill Nutt.

Bruce's wishes were to be cremated with no services. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Allen ""Bruce"" Nutt to Heartland Hospice, 35, Bierly Rd., Portsmouth, OH 45662.
