Gloria Jean Bickley

Gloria Jean Bickley, 80, of Glouster, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. She was born October 23, 1927, in Glouster, daughter of the late James and Cora Rankin Brunton. Gloria was the widow of the late Donald E. Bickley.

She was a retired cake decorator for Big Bear in Columbus. Gloria worked there over 20 years. She was a member of the Glouster Church of Christ.

Gloria is survived by a son, Donald E. Elizabeth Bickley II of Blacklick; daughter, Melinda Ron Pennell of Columbus; three grandchildren, Ryan D. Bickley of Columbus, Kevin Bickley of Blacklick and Erin Doug Stachler of New Albany; one great grandchild, Nolan Douglas Stachler; three brothers, Wallace Brunton of Sarasota, Fl, Rankin Brunton of Marietta and Trevison Brunton of Glenford and a sister, Betty Dennis of Dayton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Llovel, Emerson and Farley Brunton.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, June 16, 2008, at the Glouster Church of Christ with Clifford Smith officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster, on Sunday from 6-8 P.M. and on Monday, one hour prior to the services at the church.
