Victoria Kay Bledsoe

Vikki Kay Bledsoe, 53, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at her home with all of her family and friends with her after a long fought illness. She was born January 5, 1955 in Columbus, daughter of the late Melvin and Ginger Ramey. She was married to Michael M. Bledsoe, who survives, for thirty six years.

Vikki was employed at Adena Regional Hospital in Chillicothe for over sixteen years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by loving sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Tara Bledsoe Jr. of Wellston, Chris Kelly Bledsoe of West Portsmouth, and Aric Emily Bledsoe of McArthur; sisters, Crystal Tim Combs, Colly Buddy Weaver, Rae Larry Hopkins, and Stacy Dean Dunlap all of Ray; a brother, Skip Mary Ramey of Johnson City, Tennessee; and the lights that lit her eyes, grandchildren, Mariah, Tiffany, Seth, Amber, Emily, and Quiera. She also leaves a number of brothers and sisters-in law, nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved so much.

In addition to her parents, Vikki was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Denby and Opal Bledsoe, niece, Ginger Nichols, nephew, Nathan Bledsoe, and sister-in-law, Debbie Bledsoe.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Chaplain Dan Zickafouse officiating. Interment will be in Waldren/Bledsoe family cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call Saturday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
