Hazel Marie Stevens

Hazel Marie Stevens, 88, of Logan, passed away Monday, June 16, 2008, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born March 31, 1920, in Hocking County, daughter of the late William B. and Orpha Williams Conner. Hazel was the widow of the late Clarence Stevens.

She attended Faith Tabernacle and Faith Free Will Baptist Church.

Hazel is survived by three sons, Harold C. Stevens of Lancaster, David E. Stevens and Tim L. Stevens both of Logan; one daughter, Sharon M. Bentz of Lancaster and eight grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Larry A. ad Robert L. Stevens; two brothers, Charles Conner and Foster Conner and three sisters, Maude Wells, Bernice Guess and Maxine Jeffery.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, June 19, 2008, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. King Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
