Waveline Marie Woods Kern

Waveline Marie Woods Kern, 86, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Logan Health Care Center. She was born September 9, 1921, in Hocking County, daughter of the late Pearl and Sylvia Mae Woolever Skiver. Waveline was the widow of the late Donald Kern.

She attended the First Church of Christ in Logan.

Waveline is survived by three grandchildren, Shelly Beck of Circleville, Brian Cummins of Tuppers Plains, Ohio and Chad Cummins of Xenia; three great grandchildren, Nathan Beck of Logan, Trevor Beck of Circleville and Samantha Cummins of Tuppers Plains, Ohio; one brother, Melvin Skiver Sr. of Logan; great niece, Heath Dennis of Logan and niece Mary Skiver of Logan.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James L. Woods; daughter, Betty Jane Cummins and a brother, Bobby Skiver.

Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, June 25, 2008, in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
