Wanda D. Pierce

Wanda D. Pierce, 72, of Ashville, formerly of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus. She was born January 14, 1936, in McArthur, daughter of the late Raoul Roof and Elaine Bowen Johnson.

She was a Nurses Aid at Berger Hospital in Circleville and was employed as a Home Health Care Nurse.

Wanda is survived by sons, Rick Pierce of Radcliff, James Pierce of San Louis Obispo, California, Joseph Crissy Pierce of Radcliff and Anthony Tina Pierce of Radcliff; daughter, Judith James Hollingshead of Wellston; five grandchildren, Keoni Pierce, Matthew Nicole Hollingshead, Rilee Hollingshead, Eli Pierce and Cody Pierce and sisters, Francis Rhodes and Emily Campbell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, William and Jeffrey Pierce, her beloved maternal grandparents, Eli and Emma Bowen; stepfather, Vaughn Reichelderfer; brother, Harold Roof and sister, Billy Sue Johnson.

Wanda's wishes were to be cremated. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
