Anna Jane Herron

Anna Jane Herron, 75, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, June 27, 2008, at Doctors West Hospital in Columbus. She was born June 15, 1933, in Bremen, daughter of the late Clyde E. and Irene Sherlock Bell. Anna was the widow of the late Luther S. Herron, who passed away February 14, 2006.

She retired from Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville. Anna graduated from Logan High School and Hocking College. She was a member of the Nelsonville VFW Post # 3467, Nelsonville Elks and a Quilting Guild.

Anna is survived by sons, Steve Anita Herron, Jim Kim Herron and Scott Maryann Herron all of Logan; daughter, Christy Roger Sayre of Jersey City, N.J.; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren and sisters, Mary Brown of New Lexington and Grace Jim Hurley of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Audrey Wolfe and three infant grandsons.

Funeral services will be held 7 P.M., Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Roger Fidler officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-7 P.M.
