Lawrence E. Salts

Lawrence E. Salts, 66, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008, at his residence. He was born September 4, 1941, in Vinton County, son of the late Garvin E. and Verlia Mae Potts Salts.

Lawrence was a former water well driller.

He is survived by two brothers, Marvin Mert Salts of Columbus and James Linda Salts of Lucky, Ohio and four sisters, Ruth Charles Geyer of Mt. Gilliad, Ohio, Brenda Bill Sulak of Pottsville, Arkansas, Joann Clellan Tilley of Dardanelle, Arizona and Mona Shorty Shope of Bucyrus, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, July 7, 2008, at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Clellan Tilley officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M.
