James William Schultz, 72, of Albany, passed away Monday, July 7, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 11, 1935, in Stanton, Nebraska, son of the late Henry C. and Ruby L. Kenney Schultz. Jim was married to Mary O'Brien Schultz, who survives, for 48 years.
He was a Korean War Navy Veteran.
In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by three daughters, Tami Garry Raynor of Albany, Cindy Bryan Smith Carlson of Albany and Jayne Matt Miller of Indian Trail, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Brittany and Shelby Carlson and Jimmy and Michael Miller; two sisters, Lois Raabe of Sedalia, Missouri and Ruth Ann Denney of Stanton, Nebraska and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Donald C. Schultz; son-in-law, Richard L. Carlson; brother-in-law, Ronald Denney and three nephews.
A memorial service will be will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Christ the King University Parish, 75 Stewart St., Athens, Ohio 45701, with Father Martin Holler officiating. Jims wishes were to be cremated and no visitation will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
