Carol Yvonne Scott

Carol Yvonne Scott, 61, of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008, at her residence. She was born April 27, 1947, in Vinton County, daughter of Rosalee Ankrom Seitz of McArthur and the late Lawrence Seitz. Carol was married for 41 years to Michael W. Scott, who survives.

She was an active member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Londonderry, where she was the church pianist for many years and held many positions in the church. Carol shared her gift of singing in many area churches. She was also a volunteer for Care Outreach Ministry for several years.

In addition to her mother and husband, Carol is survived by two sons, Dwayne A. Scott of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Rev. Robbie D. Bridget Scott of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two grandchildren, Hannah and Levi Scott and several wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 52893 Old Rt. 50 W., Londonderry, Ohio 45647 with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the church on Monday, from 4-8 P.M. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the services.

Contributions may be made to the Carol Scott Memorial Fund at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 31435 Stevens Branch Rd., Londonderry, Ohio 45647.
