Lillian A. Keiffer

Lillian A. Keiffer, 90, of Nelsonville, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008 in Hickory Creek Nursing Home in The Plains. She was born June 25, 1918 in Nelsonville daughter of the late Earl D. and Edna Essex Mender.

Lillian is survived by a daughter, Diane Jim Davis of Nelsonville; three grandchildren, Barbara Rob Buongiorno of Fairfield, Connecticut, Lisa Bill Vinka of Westerville and Jon Davis of Glouster; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Deloris Nelson of Nelsonville, Shirley James Dolman of Perrysburg and Marguerite Mender of The Plains and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Don, Caryle and Wilbur Mender and a grandson, Keith Douglas Davis.

Graveside services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 23, 2008 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. No calling hour will be observed. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
