Helen M. Beal

Helen M. Beal, 84, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born December 26, 1923, in Shawnee, Ohio, daughter of the late Arthur and Tessie Green Kreitz. Helen was the widow of the late Herman E. Beal, who passed away August 17, 1990.

She retired from General Electric.

Helen is survived by a son, Larry Suzanne Beal of Logan; daughter, Linda Tom Matthews of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Michael Beal of Logan and Jill Palmer of Lancaster; three great grandchildren, Luke Beal, Alianna and Lily Palmer and a sister, Mabel Wilson of New Straitsville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Private graveside services will be held Friday, in New Fairview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Vernon Barrell officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
