Edgar William Campbell

Edgar William Campbell, 73, of McArthur, went to be with the Lord on Friday July 25, 2008, at Holzer Medical Center, in Gallipolis. He was born March 20, 1935, in Vinton County, son of the late Charles C. and Addie D. Baker Campbell.

Edgar attended Allensville Schools, worked for the C & O Railroad and was a farmer, prior to this retirement.

He is survived by a sister, Faye Campbell of McArthur; brother, John Janis Campbell of Lancaster; three nieces, Holly Michael O'Brien, Leslie Michael McCoy both of Lancaster and Brandy Campbell of Gahanna; several cousins; two great nephews; one great niece and his close and loving companion, Patricia.

In addition to his parents, Edgar was preceded in death by brother, Virgil Campbell.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2008 in Boblett Church with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Interment will be in Boblett Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Monday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the services a the church.
