Lena A. Campbell

Lena E. Campbell, 90, of Murray City, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008 in Logan Health Care Center. She was born December 2, 1917, in Murray City, daughter of the late Harry and Helen Koon Wilson. Lena was the widow of the late Milton Campbell, who passed away in 1996.

She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #420 in Murray City.

Lena is survived by a son, John Judy Campbell of Murray City, daughter, Helen George Addis of Buchtel; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a sister, Almedia Moody of Murray City.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Rolyn Campbell and Robert Eugene Campbell; brothers, Galvin, Clifford and Arthur Wilson and a sister, Elsie Evans.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, July 30, 2008 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. David Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. with an American Legion Auxiliary service being held at 7:30 P.M.
