Novella Wallace

Novella Wallace, 83, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Carlin House in Logan. She was born December 30, 1922, in McArthur, daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Cogill Thomas. Novella was the widow of the late W. Kenneth Wallace who passed away October 7, 2002.

She attended Bliss Business School, was a member of the First Christian Church in McArthur where she was a member of Circle Ruth.

She is survived by a son, Walt Theresa Wallace of Lewis Center; daughter, Jill Wallace of Athens; two grandchildren, Woody and Vaughn Wallace both of Lewis Center and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Novella was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Johnston and Gladys Gross and three brothers, Boyd, Evan and Cogill Bobo.

Funeral services will be held 3 P.M., Thursday, July 31, 2008 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Minister Vernon Barrell officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 1 P.M., until the time of service.
