Cleo Wavalene Diehl

Cleo Wavalene Diehl, 88, of Londonderry, passed away Friday, August 1, 2008. She was born October 30, 1919 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Harley and Gladys Thomas Seitz. Wavalene married Raymond Diehl on September 30, 1937, who survives. They were married for over 70 years.

She enjoyed attending church services.

In addition to her husband, Wavalene is survived by a son, Terry Bonnie Diehl of Londonderry; daughter, Jacqueline Roger Dalrymple of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, Tracy Tiffany Dalrymple of Chillicothe, Troy Sherry Dalrymple of Radcliff, Terina Johnny Rose of Laurelville, Travis Dalrymple of Chillicothe, Tony Diehl of Londonderry and Todd Erin Diehl of Chillicothe; nineteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother, Marvin Ruth Seitz of Londonderry and special friends, Raymond and Mary Krueger and Donnie and Betty Betts.

She was preceded in death an infant son, Marvin Dwight Diehl; brother, Vernon Seitz and sister, Willa Fern Clarey.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, August 5, 2008, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. James McFadden officiating. Interment will be in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 P.M.
