Carole Kaye Mccomis

Carole Kaye McComis, 66, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008, in Huston Nursing Home in Hamden. She was born January 26, 1942, in Ironton, daughter of the late Harold and Jean McCollister Arthur. Carole was the widow of the late Jack McComis.

She was a member of the Wellston American Legion Auxiliary.

Carole is survived by a daughter, Rejeana McComis of Hamden; three grandchildren, Alexander, Kendale and Carrigen McComis; brother, David Arthur of Texas; two sisters, Betty Walters of Coal Grove and Linda Meeks of Ironton and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jimmy Arthur.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, August 21, 2008, at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be at 2 P.M. in Woodland Cemetery in Ironton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
