Richard L. Davis

Richard L. Davis, 59, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. He was born February 16, 1949, in Circleville, son of Richard E. Davis and the late Amy Sams Arledge. He was married to Laura Bond Davis, who survives.

Richard retired from Selkirk Metalbestos where he was a sheet metal worker. He was a 1968 graduate of Logan High School.

In addition to his wife and father, Richard is survived by a daughter, Mindy Todd Barrick of Dillsburg, PA; three grandchildren, Olivia, Ryan and Owen; brothers, Tom Davis of Pennsylvania, Albert Davis of Omaha, Nebraska and Jeff Arledge of Circleville; sisters, Cathy Goodman of Circleville, Mary Davis and Tammy Davis both of Omaha, Nebraska.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his Grandma Sams.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
