Almeda Phryne Kempton

Almeda Phryne ""Gabriel"" Kempton, 75, of Chauncey, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008, at Arcadia Nursing Home in Coolville. She was born October 9, 1932, in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Octa Vasa Bobo Powell.

She was a former LPN at the Athens Mental Health Center.

Almeda is survived by a son, Mark J. Mary Ann Moyer Robson of Chauncey; four grandchildren, Jacob Tabitha, Shannon, Laura and Melody and three great grandchildren, Jacob II, Trey and Cody.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald F. Robson Jr.

Graveside services will be held 10 A.M., Monday, August 25, 2008 in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield, with Father David Cornett officiating. Friends may call at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M.
