Viola Maxine Atwood

Viola ""Maxine"" Atwood of Londonderry passed from this life on August 23,
2008 surrounded by her family.

Maxine was born on September 28, 1924 to the late Orvan and Emma Fout
Arganbright. On November 8, 1943 she married the late Raymond ""Earl"" Atwood
who passed away on October 10, 2007.

She is survived by children Karen Larry Carpenter, Vicki Dennis Mitchell
and Ron Roni Atwood all of Londonderry. Grandchildren Brenda Faught of
Londonderry, Heather Mike Congrove of Chillicothe, three Step
Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren Kailyn, Micah, and Hunter Congrove and
one Step Great Grandson. Also surviving is a brother Earl Arganbright of
Londonderry.

She was preceded in death by a baby sister Avis Arganbright, and sisters in
law Linda Arganbright, Wylodene Sowers and Arlene Atwood. Brother in law
Eugene Sowers and special Grandson David Carpenter whom she loved dearly.

Maxine worked in the family business the A&A Texaco for many years. She was
for a short time, and EMT with the Harrison Township Volunteer Fire
Department. She was a devoted homemaker to her family whom she loved and
they loved her as well. She will greatly missed by all who knew her.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday in Boblett Cemetery
with Rev. Jim McFadden officiating. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras
Funeral Home 201 W. High St. McArthur, Ohio on Tuesday from 5-8PM.
