Ruth Taffe

Ruth Taffe, 90, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Rockmill Rehabilitation Center in Carroll. She was born July 29, 1918, in Columbus, daughter of the late Harry and Neoma Emig Starrett. Ruth was the widow of the late John Taffe.

She retired from Greenbriar Apartments and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Bexley.

Ruth is survived by a stepbrother, David Sue Schirtzinger of Logan and several nieces and nephews including Bill and Kathy Schirtzinger of Columbus.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dick Starrett.

Graveside services will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, October 14, 2008, in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, with Pastor Tim Iseringhausen officiating. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Monday, from 6-8 P.M.
