Forrest M. White

Forrest M. White, 85, of Albany, passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. He was born November 20, 1922 in Vinton County, son of the late Francis and Romina Friend White. Forrest was married to Northa Rhoades White, who survives.

He was a retired sawmiller and worked at Eaton Manufacturing in Massillon for 23 years.

Forrest is survived by three sons, Jim Linda White of Albany, Roger Linda White of Jackson and Ronnie Vickie White of Radcliff; three daughters, Judy Gary Smith of Rockbridge, Joyce Dan Fannin of Guysville and Robin Sherman Pratt of McArthur; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, October 16, 2008 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
