John E. Cominsky

John E. Cominsky, 66, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Doctors Hospital Nelsonville. He was born July 18, 1942 in Jacksonville, son of Flo Hallam Cominsky of Lancaster and the late James Cominsky.

John was a graduate of J-T High School and retired from Gould Electronics, Inc. in McConnelsville. He was an avid golfer and hunter and a member of the Jacksonville Eagles.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Tammy Bruce Green of Columbus; a grandson, Robert Hollingshead of Jacksonville; a granddaughter-in-law, Angie Phillips of Old Washington, Ohio; and a great grandson, Riley Hollingshead.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother James Cominsky.

It was John's wish to be cremated. There will be no public services observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster.
