Myrtle M. Cecil

Myrtle M. Cecil, 78, of Logan, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born November 20, 1929, in Hocking County, daughter of the late Guy E. ad Carrie Larkins Evans.

She retired from Carborundum in Logan.

Myrtle is survived by sons, Robert Donna Cecil of Logan and Gary Dotty Cecil of Lebanon, Pennsylvania; a deceased daughter, Doris Culp; four grandchildren, Jason Matthew Jamie Cecil, Kellie Cullen Rutter, Julie Bob Reeves and Regan Hinerman; three great grandchildren, Paige Cecil, Renee Slack and Mandy Reeves; one great great grandchild, Aislynn Slack; a brother, William Evans of Nelsonville; a sister, Rhea Barber of Logan and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, November 5, 2008, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Barbara Harkless officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4-8 P.M.
