Lois M. Tippie

Lois M. Tippie, 89, of Glouster, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in The Plains. She was born December 8, 1918, in Athens County, daughter of the late George and Carrie Judson McClelland. Lois was married to William Tippie, who survives.

She was a former member of the Glouster Eagles Auxiliary.

Lois is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Eldon Bickley of Glouster; two grandchildren, Rick Billie Bickley of Zanesville and Tina Bickley of Glouster; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Frank McClelland of Magnolia, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Mose and Riley McClelland and sisters, Ethel Snoke, Margaret Hook, Bertie Lou Everett, Lucille Ervin and Frances Triplett.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster. Interment will be in Dew Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 11 A.M., until the time of the service.
