Blanche F. Yates

Blanche F. Yates, 104, of The Plains, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in The Plains. She was born January 9, 1904 in Beaumont, Ohio, daughter of the late Alexander and Barbara Six Smith.

Blanche is survived by sons, Elmo Eleonore Yates of Sun City, Florida, Allen Yates of St. Petersburg, Florida and James Yates of South Bloomingville, Ohio; daughters, Alice Robert Frazee of Westerville and Ruth Conners of Columbus; seventeen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dellis Golf; a brother, Clyde Smith and a sister, Verna Smith.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, November 21, 2008 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.
