Charles K. Chuck Davis

October 23, 1930 — November 19, 2008

Charles K. ""Chuck"" Davis, 78, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus. He was born October 23, 1930, in Wellston, Ohio, son of the late George and Mary Painter Davis. Chuck was married to Millie Fox Davis, who survives.

He retired as a councilor for Goodwill Rehabilitation Center in Columbus and was a Korean Conflict Marine Veteran. Chuck was formerly employed at Rocky in Nelsonville, was a member of the Logan VFW and Hocking County Fish and Game.

He is survived by sons, William Marisa Lauber of Harrogate, England, Mark Mary Lauber of Delaware, Ohio, Eric Davis of New Mexico, Joseph Debi Lauber of Loveland, Ohio, Patrick Sherry Lauber of Deltona, Florida and Bruce Pam Davis of Richwood, Ohio; daughters, Barbara William Fadrowski of Wind Lake, Wisconsin and Katherine Russell Gatton of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 5 P.M., Sunday, November 23, 2008 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Karen Walters officiating. Interment will be 10 A.M., Monday, November 24, 2008 in New Fairview Memorial Gardens with military graveside services being conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 3 P.M. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in memory of Charles K. ""Chuck"" Davis to the First United Methodist Church, 205 W. Columbus St., Nelsonville, Ohio 45764.
