John L. Fout

John L. Fout, 76, of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at his residence. He was born October 15, 1932 in McArthur, son of the late Jennings and Genevieve Wortman Fout. John was the widower of the late Lavenna K. Yates Fout.

He was a 20 year Veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. He and his wife owned and operated J & B Exon in Fairborn for many years and was most recently employed by Bennett Trucking.

John is survived by two brothers, Louis M. Linda Fout of Aqua Dulce, California and Joseph H. Fout of Athens; sisters, Beverle Boivin of Athens, Nancy Robert J. Mingus of Athens and Lea Chiki of Athens and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew and friend, Matthew Cheryl Boivin.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, December 8, 2008 in Burcham Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, Ohio with Heth Corl officiating. Interment will be 3 P.M. Monday, in Elk Cemetery, McArthur with military graveside services being conducted by the McArthur VFW Post #5299. Friends may call at the Burcham Funeral Home on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
