Hazel L. Wade

Hazel L. Wade, 96, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born April 5, 1912 in Connett, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Mimi Drain Hickman. Hazel was the widow of the late Clyde Wade.

She was a member of the Nelsonville First Christian Church.

Hazel is survived by a son, Fred Wade of New Plymouth and a grandson, Jeff Wade of Dallas, Texas.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Shirley Wade.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Sunday, December 7, 2008 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Jon T. Hanning officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 5-8 P.M.
