Audrey E. Steffy

Audrey E. Steffy 91 of Glouster passed away December 13, 2008 in O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. She was born March 31, 1917 in Morgan County, daughter of the late Elmer and Sylvia Roberts Shaner. She was the widow of the late Dwight W. Steffy.

Audrey was a member of Laymens Home Missionary Movement and the Glouster Project.

She is survived by a daughter Carol Tom Echstenkamper of Glouster, 7 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. 2 brothers Mark Mary Shaner of Glouster and David Shaner of Morgan Co., 3 sisters Betty Myron McCall of Glouster, Pearl Pierce of Newark, and Lois Smith of Reynoldsburg.

Audrey was preceded in death by a daughter Janet Williams, 3 brothers Ivan, Lowell, and Laurence Shaner and 1 sister Rose Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday in the Cardaras Funeral Home 30 Main St. Glouster with Robert Steenrod and Jon Hanning officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM.
