Doris E. Skeens

Doris E. Skeens, 65, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Twin Maples Nursing Home in McArthur. She was born May 4, 1943, in Ross County, daughter of the late Donald McKinney. Doris was married to Robert Skeens who survives.

She enjoyed church music.

Doris is survived by a daughter, Denise Floyd Detty Sr.; three grandchildren, Ellen, Jessica and Floyd Jr.; two great grandchildren; brothers, Glen, Harold and Neil McKinney and two sisters, Marilyn Wisecup and Ella Neff.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Rev. Jerry R. Griffith Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 1 P.M., until the time of the service.
