Phyllis R. Wright

Phyllis R. Wright, 66, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born July 26, 1942, in Vinton County, daughter of the late Clarence and Prudence Lowe Boyer. Phyllis was the widow of the late Howard Edward Wright Sr.

She is survived by sons, Alvin Wright of Clyde, Ohio; Tracy Wright of Oak Hill, Howard Amy Wright Jr. of McArthur, Roger Kim Wright of Clyde, Ohio and Mark Rhonda Wright of Clyde, Ohio; nineteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five brothers, Lawrence Faye Boyer of Hamden, Arthur Boyer of Zaleski, Paul Wendy Boyer of Ashville, North Carolina, Robert Beverly Boyer of Gibsonburg, Ohio and Roger Sue Boyer of Hamden; sisters, Martha Martin of Ashville, North Carolina, Wilma Lawrence Russell of Chauncey and Patty Raymond Scarberry of Nappanee, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by an infant son, Johnny Ray Wright; three brothers, Clarence, Charlie and Jasper Boyer and an infant sister, Mary Boyer.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Radcliff Cemetery, Radcliff. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 5-8 P.M.
