Sandra S. Mason

Sandra S. Mason, 65, of Hilliard, formerly of Vinton County, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus. She was born May 12, 1943, in Vinton County, daughter of the late Marion and Margaret Pratt Perry. Sandra was married to Ronald L. Mason, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Wesley E. Pinney of McArthur; two daughters, Tamara E. Pinney of Hilliard and Lesa Doug Cooperrider of Thornville; stepson, Ron Lois Mason of Pickerington; stepdaughter, Shelly Chris Gordon Mason of Marysville; grandchildren, Kevin Amy and Kelli Cooperrider, Perry, Katie and Faith Pinney, Markus and Nicholas Mason, Garrett Gordon and Daimler Diol; two great grandchildren, Isaac and Charles Cooperrider; three sisters, Juanita Ward of McArthur, Edith Richard Henderson of Wilkesville and Eda Floyd of Phoenix, Arizona; a very special person in her life, Brian Hubbard of McArthur; special niece, Dian Pemberton of Seattle and several nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Powell and two infant brothers, Kenneth and Marion Perry.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Pastor Marvin Markin officiating. Interment will be in Bean Hill Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4-8 P.M.
