Vonda Sue Prater

Vonda Sue Prater, 73, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus. She was born March 23, 1935, in Foraker, Kentucky, daughter of the late Hobart and Lucy Patton Arnett. Vonda was the widow of the late Troy James Prater Sr.

She is survived by two sons, Garry Sharon Russell Prater and Troy James Cindy Prater Jr., both of Columbus.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, January 8, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Pastor Jim Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
