Clara J. Clary

Clara J. Clary, 102, of Londonderry, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born August 24, 1906, in Jackson County, daughter of the late Earl and Nora Dozer Branscomb. Clara was the widow of the late Jesse Clary.

She is survived by a son, Delbert Ann Clary of Londonderry; daughters, Marcella Doles of Ray, Ival Dye of Ray, Alice Melvin Seitz of Allensville, Effie Roy Palmer of Allensville, Majel Current of Londonderry and Judy Jim Harper of Londonderry; forty-eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, Clara was preceded in death by a son, Roland Clary; a daughter, Susie Ray; a grandson; two sisters, Ollie Tennant and Alace Benson and four brothers, Paul, Jack, Samuel and Lee Branscomb.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, January 9, 2009 in Boblett Church, Old Rt. 50, Londonderry with Pastor Leland Benson officiating. Interment will be in Boblett Cemetery, Londonderry. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Thursday, from 4-8 P.M. and on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
