Patricia Ruth Nelson

Patricia Ruth Nelson, 82, of Dutch Ridge Rd., New Straitsville, passed away Friday, January 30, 2009 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Zanesville. She was born January 30, 1927, in Buchtel, daughter of the late Harry Leslie and Ruth Mildred Davis Rose. Patricia was the widow of the late Paul Huey Nelson.

She was a member of the New Lexington Congregation of Jehovah Witness.

Patricia is survived by sons, Tim Allen Barbara Nelson of Santoy, Wayne Leslie Patricia L. Nelson of New Straitsville and Travis Eugene Jolene Nelson of Bristol; daughters, Sandra William Miller of Union Furnace, Linda Gerald Ruff of New Straitsville, Ruth Ann Terry McGrath of Logan, Rebecca Dennis Harrod of McConnelsville, Elizabeth Aaron Brady of New Lexington and Jessie Jon Kullman of McConnelsville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and one sister, Michelle Dean Wittekind of Logan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Paul William Miller and three brothers, Thomas Leslie Rose, William Dale Rose and Dennis Eugene Rose.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, February 4, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Joshua Schenck officiating. Burial will be at 2 P.M., Wednesday in Plum Grove Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
