Alice L. Pinney

Alice L. Pinney, 77, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Four Winds Nursing Facility in Jackson. She was born May 11, 1931, in Wahpeton, North Dakota, daughter of the late Arthur and Lydia Meyers Wolter. Alice was the widow of the late Philip Albert Pinney.

She was a former school bus driver for the Vinton County School District, attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Logan and Faith Tabernacle in Nelsonville.

Alice is survived by a son, Bill Diana Pinney of Albany; three daughters, Dianne Walter Alford of Logan, Linda Mike Zinn of Grove City and Karla Jim Mace of McArthur; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, February 7, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Rev. King Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Keeton Cemetery, Brown Township. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
