Lawrence H. Taylor

Lawrence H. ""Cutter"" Taylor, 85, formerly of Buchtel, passed away Friday, February 6, 2009 at Logan Health Care Center. He was born August 28, 1923 in Athens County, son of the late Benjamin Eva Marie Martin Taylor.

Cutter was a retired Coal Miner and worked for Pepsi Bottling in Athens after his retirement from the Coal Mines.

He is survived by two sisters, Shirley Taylor of Nelsonville and Frieda Brooks of Athens.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Jack, Benjamin Jr., Dorothy, Mary Kay and Margaret.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 9, 2009 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Paul Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Whitmore Cemetery, Buchtel. Friends may call Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
