Betty Stufflebeam

Betty Stufflebeam, 74, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born June 3, 1934, in Gore, daughter of the late John and Venetta Savage Bagent. Betty was the widow of the late Earl Stufflebeam.

She retired from Goodyear after 30 years of service.

Betty is survived by sons, Fred Stufflebeam of Creola and Randy Terri Stufflebeam of Logan; daughters, Sue Leonard Fleming of Logan and Tina Stufflebeam Lackey of Rockbridge; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two brothers, John David Bagent of Columbus and James Arlene Bagent of Lancaster and a sister, Mary Louise Blosser of Logan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James T. Stufflebeam; a sister, Bert Warren and her second husband, Eldon Wolfe.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, February 12, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Jim Mathias officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery, Perry County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
