Carol J. Moran

Carol J. Moran, 72, of Albany, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009, at her residence. She was born February 8, 1937, in Franklin County, daughter of Margaret Reams Legg of Carbon Hill and the late John Legg.

She retired from Grange Insurance Company.

Carol is survived by her former husband, Vic Moran of Albany; son, Michael Pam Moran of Laurelville; daughters, Vickie Chuck Bernoski of Bedias, Texas and Kathy Keith Cook Pitcock of Huntsville, Texas; grandchildren, Gregory Ellis, Sandra Collard, Amy Bernoski, April Disman, Robby Pitcock, Brittany Pitcock and Christina Bernoski; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friend, David Woodrum of Nelsonville; brother, Donald Legg of Galloway and sisters, Joyce Gessells and Carl of Galloway, Mary Woodrum and Junior of Nelsonville and Donna Stufflebeam of Carbon Hill.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Pitcock.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, February 16, 2009 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. King Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 5-8 P.M.
