Audrey Marie Dawley

Audrey Marie Dawley, 82, of Nelsonville, passed away, Monday, February 23, 2009 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1926 in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late William and Marie Warren Coots. She was married to Edward L. ""Jim"" Dawley of Nelsonville.

Audrey was a 1944 graduate of Nelsonville High School, a member of Carbon Hill Christian Church and a member of Eastern Star.

In addition to her husband, she was survived by her children, Russ Kitty Dawley, Debbie Steve Brown and Jim Carol Dawley all of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Butch, Jennie, Scott, Michael, Don, Andrew and Matthew; nine great grandchildren; many cousins including a special cousin, Jill Max Barber of McArthur.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 27, 2009 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Joy Omslear officiating. Interment will be at Carbon Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
